00A little about me

Real estate is my profession — but there is genuine passion behind what I do.

Before real estate, I spent nearly 20 years in education — teaching and serving students and families across the Miami-Dade and Raleigh-Wake County school districts. Much of what I loved about that work has followed me into this career.
I’m naturally curious. I research. I ask questions. I like understanding the numbers and the details, but I’m equally interested in the people behind them. I care deeply about my clients and lead with advocacy for everyone I work with.
I also believe my clients should understand what we’re doing and why. Whether we’re looking at comparable sales, deciding what to offer, or working through an inspection, I want you to have enough information to make a decision that feels right to you. My approach is thoughtful and highly personal, backed by real-time market insight and a strong understanding of the details that matter.

01Raleigh, at home

Two streets can offer completely different ways of living.

My family and I have called Raleigh home for more than a decade and have watched the area grow and change considerably. I love the established neighborhoods, the trees and parks, the pockets of walkability and character — and the fact that two neighborhoods, or even two streets, can offer completely different ways of living.
Outside of work, I’m a wife and mom, a soccer enthusiast and coach, a traveler, a dog person, and someone who has always had a genuine interest in homes, communities and the people who make them feel like home.

Fun fact: urban planning was my original major in college before turning toward education — so I’m thrilled to live in a city and work in a field that feels like it marries both.

02How I work

A very good advisor who happens to be your Realtor.

01

Your interests come first.

My advice isn’t based on getting a transaction to closing. It’s based on what I believe is in your best interest. If I think a house is overpriced, I’ll tell you. If I don’t think spending $20,000 before listing will give you $20,000 back, I won’t recommend it.

02

I do the homework.

Comparable sales, property history, neighborhood trends, inspection findings, repair estimates, contracts and market activity — all of it helps us make better decisions. I would much rather research something now than have my client wish we’d asked about it later.

03

I stay involved.

Real estate has a lot of moving pieces, particularly once you’re under contract. I stay close to the process — communicating with lenders, attorneys, inspectors, contractors and other agents so you always know what’s happening.

04

I get to know my clients.

This may be the most important part. The better I understand your priorities, your concerns and the life you’re trying to create, the better advice I can give. That’s ultimately what I want to be: a very good advisor who happens to be your Realtor.

03Beyond Raleigh

If I can’t personally help you, I’ll help you find someone who can.

I have trusted real estate relationships throughout the country — from Florida, Virginia and New York to Minnesota, California and many places in between. If your next move takes you outside North Carolina, I’m always happy to make the connection.
I don’t take referrals lightly. I want to understand what you need, find someone genuinely strong in that market, and make an introduction I feel good about. When appropriate, I’ll stay connected and help make sure the handoff is a good one.

You don’t have to be buying or selling in Raleigh for me to be a resource. If you need someone somewhere else, call me.
